About Global Connections
We bring people together around markets and community days in the Western Cape.
Global Connections is a small, community-run organisation based in the Western Cape. We organise markets and gatherings where local traders can sell, newcomers can meet people, and communities can celebrate together.
Our events include Pride markets, expat meet-ups, Christmas and gift markets, and cultural days such as Colombia Day. Every event is open to the public, entry is free wherever we can manage it, and stalls stay affordable so that small traders can take part.
Alongside the events we run a free vendor directory, a community classifieds board and a blog. Everything posted by the public is read by a moderator before it appears, and our posting rules are strict about privacy and safety.
